Who sends these messages
SMS messages from Pinehurst Farms (GRFIS5) are sent by Gated Rentals ("we", "us"), which operates Pinehurst Farms (GRFIS5) in Pinehurst, Texas. Our toll-free sending number is +1 (833) 304-3249.
What we text you about
This is a transactional SMS program. You will only receive messages tied to your direct interaction with us:
- One-time passcodes (OTP) to confirm your phone number during application or sign-in.
- Application updates - status, missing documents, approval/denial, adverse-action notice.
- Tour confirmations and reminders if you scheduled an on-site or virtual tour.
- Lease and resident notifications - signed-lease links, move-in scheduling, key handoff, maintenance updates, lease renewal.
- Payment confirmations and reminders - receipts, autopay status, returned-payment alerts, late notices.
- Replies from our property management staff when you message us first.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this program. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.
How to opt in
You opt in by providing your mobile number on one of our forms. Specifically, opt-in happens at:
- Application form - apply.pinehurst-farms.com. When you reach the "Tell us about yourself" step and enter your mobile number, the phone field shows this disclosure: "By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Pinehurst Farms (GRFIS5) about your application, tour, lease, or payments. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." Later in the application (the deposit step) you can also separately check a box to confirm you want text updates about your application and move-in - that box is optional and does not change whether the disclosure above already applies.
- Inquire-now form - pinehurst-farms.com/inquire/. The same disclosure appears directly under the phone field, and a checkbox next to it lets you opt in to text updates about availability and tours.
- In-office sign-in or paper application where you provide your phone number to staff.
Not yet available: we do not currently have a dedicated online tour- or call-scheduling form on pinehurst-farms.com. Until that ships, tours and calls are arranged through the Inquire-now form above or by phone with our office.
You can also opt in by texting any of the keywords START, YES, or UNSTOP to our number after you have previously opted out.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any text from us at +1 (833) 304-3249. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts on the program. You can also email [email protected] to request opt-out.
If you opt out, transactional messages tied to a live lease (such as urgent maintenance notices) may still be sent where permitted by law. Opting out of SMS does not affect email communications or your lease obligations.

Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your activity with us. Typical applicant flow is 2–6 messages over 1–2 weeks. Active residents may receive 1–4 messages per month for billing and maintenance.
Cost
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. We do not charge a fee for the SMS service itself.
Supported carriers
The program is compatible with all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Phone numbers and message content are stored under our Privacy Policy. We will never share your number with third parties for their marketing. SMS opt-in data, including your consent record, is kept solely for our compliance and operational use and is not shared with affiliates or partners for marketing purposes.
Changes to this program
We may update this page from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top. Continued use of the SMS program after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will trigger a new opt-in confirmation.
